Day 1 – Freedom Trail
- Boston Common, Faneuil Hall, North End
Morning start Freedom Trail at Boston Common. Follow the red line to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. Afternoon North End for Italian and Paul Revere House. Evening North End or waterfront.
Tips:
Freedom Trail is about 2.5 miles; do half or full depending on pace. Wear comfortable shoes.
Day 2 – Harvard and Cambridge
- Harvard Yard, Harvard Square, MIT
Morning Harvard Yard and Harvard Square (Red Line). Afternoon MIT campus and Kendall Square. Evening back in Boston: Back Bay or South End.
Tips:
Harvard tours are free; check times. Cambridge has great bookshops and cafes.
Day 3 – Back Bay or Museum of Fine Arts
- Newbury Street, Copley, or MFA
Morning Back Bay: Newbury Street and Copley Square. Or Museum of Fine Arts. Afternoon last lobster roll and departure.
Tips:
Logan Airport is 15–20 minutes by taxi or Silver Line. Allow extra time in bad weather.
