Day 1 – Loop and river cruise
- Architecture river cruise, Millennium Park, Bean
Morning architecture boat tour on the Chicago River. Afternoon Millennium Park and the Bean. Art Institute or lakefront. Evening deep dish and Riverwalk.
Tips:
Architecture cruise is a must; book morning slot. Deep dish: Lou Malnati's, Giordano's, or Pequod's.
Day 2 – Museums and Navy Pier
- Museum of Science and Industry or Field Museum, Navy Pier
Morning at Museum of Science and Industry (Hyde Park) or Field Museum. Afternoon Navy Pier or lakefront. Evening in Wicker Park, Logan Square, or River North.
Tips:
Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium are on the Museum Campus. Navy Pier is touristy but good for views and ferris wheel.
Day 3 – Neighborhoods and departure
- Wicker Park, Logan Square, or Magnificent Mile
Morning in Wicker Park or Logan Square for coffee and boutiques. Or Magnificent Mile shopping. Last lunch and departure.
Tips:
O'Hare and Midway are 30–45 minutes by L or taxi; allow extra time in rush hour.
