Day 1 – Reykjavik and Blue Lagoon
- Reykjavik city centre and Hallgrimskirkja
- Blue Lagoon (book ahead)
Morning in Reykjavik: Hallgrimskirkja, Harpa, and harbour. Afternoon at Blue Lagoon. Evening in the old town.
Tips:
Book Blue Lagoon in advance. Bring a towel or rent one on site.
Day 2 – Golden Circle
- Thingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss
Full-day Golden Circle tour or drive: Thingvellir National Park, Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall. Return to Reykjavik for dinner.
Tips:
Dress in layers; weather changes quickly. Start early to avoid crowds.
Day 3 – South Coast or northern lights
- Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, or northern lights tour
Option A: South Coast waterfalls and black sand. Option B: Relax and evening northern lights tour. Departure next day.
Tips:
Northern lights best September–March. Check forecast and cloud cover.
